I did a lot of research of Blu-ray players and this ranked at the top for quality picture, fast load, and easy setup. I use it mostly to play DVDs but it has lots of internet features I could see myself using down the road. Wifi is really nice, this means if you want to watch movies streamed over the Internet like Netflix you don't need to run an Ethernet cable out to your living room TV if you have a wireless router.
Has a touchless open sensor on top that's fun but not really necessary. This feature can be turned off if it bothers you.

Started off perfectly, quick to set up, excellent play back and 3d rendering also without fault.
However the unit no longer plays Bluray disks, it wavers between even 'seeing' them to claiming incompatibility... However as one of the disks it can no longer play actually came with the unit and worked just fine then there's obviously a problem with the bluray head in this unit.
I've noted similar observations about this unit do sadly I would say avoid.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
Don't get me wrong. It's a very good player with lots of nice features. VUDU, NETFLIX, HULU... everything works just fine.
Except 1 thing - after 2 weeks of purchase it stopped playing Blu-ray disks, cannot even load them, saying "No READ" and I have no idea why. Disks are clean and free of scratches. The funny part is that it still play the regular DVD disks even with the weirdly scratched surfaces which no other regular dvd players would play.
Will try to contact customer support... should be an issue with just this particular unit.

I did a lot of online research before buying the right player. I set mine up with a Projector. WIFI to internet is great and I have the lowest bandwidth. HDMI cable produces outstanding image. Blue Ray outstanding. Comes with almost a dozen Apps for veiwing online content. Some I've never heard of and whats more is you can download countless more veiwing apps just like an iPhone, WOW! I like the hand motion open and close tray feature! Have had zero problems. Owned for 2 weeks. NOTE: you can't use blue ray 3D with most projectors that state 3D Ready. My NEC V260X will not handle the SBS(Side by Side) 3D. Hope this helps projector fans. I did not know this and my main purpose for purchase was 3D viewing. But there is a lot of content on Comcast and DirectTV that is TnB(top and bottom) or (over under) and it works great on a 3D Ready Projector. You have to spend way more then $4-$600 on a projector that will play (SBS) etc.

No problems whatsoever with this unit. We use it in classrooms that have HDMI inputs but also in classrooms that have only composite and VGA inputs. We use this as a portable unit that can be moved easily from classroom to classroom because it is so light and easy to carry. The HDMI output quality is wonderful.

Scared about the updates in firmware ..hearing all sorts of negative stories..This player just moves along without a hitch. Easy to set up...and firmware loads like a clock...I don't even have it set up hardwire...just through my modem...
The look is great and can't wait to try the 3D.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I bought this for two reasons:
1. To view web content on my TV
2. To view Blu-Ray video
This player gives me the ability to view web content on my TV via Wifi built-in. While others have complained about NetFlix compatability, mine has no problems and is faster than a dedicated line on my Sony player. There is even a specal button on the remote to go directly to NetFlix. When hooked up to my Panosonic TV when the TV timer shuts down the TV, the Blu-Ray also shuts down. This is a nice feature for bedroom sets.
Blu-ray performance is a lot faster than my Sony which takes a bit of time to boot.

Third Panosonic Blu-ray, 2nd BDT210. Replaces LG 650, which quit after 14 months. I like that it's not too slow, was relatively easy to set up. Got through to technical service pretty easily - it would not access Netflix from the menu. They thought it was a strength of internet connection problem. That may be, but afterwards I found that it set up Netflix fine from the "Netfilx" key on the remote.
