The Panasonic DMP-BD75 Blu-ray Disc Player (Black) is an affordable Blu-ray player with high performance audio and video processing and online streaming capabilities in a slim package.
The DMP-BD75 offers support for 1080p/24 playback, so it can deliver the crisp, clear imaging of Blu-ray discs. Full HD 1080p means 1,080 lines of vertical resolution progressively scanned so you'll experience higher detail and more vivid colors than standard DVDs are capable of producing. Since it plays movies at their native frame rate of 24 frames per second (fps), you'll see a more cinematic picture quality on your HDTV screen.
But a lot of what this player offers can be found on the internet. Just connect it to your home internet connection to take advantage of BD Live extra features like quizzes and games related to the movies you're watching, which are found online. This player also supports streaming from online services like CinemaNow, Netflix and VUDU so you can open the door to a slew of additional content when you do get online.
To complete your home theater experience, the DMP-BD75 offers built-in decoding for advanced Dolby and DTS audio codecs found on Blu-ray and DVD discs, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. These allow you to experience detailed, immersive sound that is equivalent to the master recordings if you have a multi-channel speaker setup.
This player offers a front panel USB port so you can enjoy your personal photos, music and video files from a USB memory drive. It is also DLNA certified so you can easily share files between this player and a compatible home network PC or network attached storage (NAS). It offers a fast load time so you can start enjoying all of this connectivity and interactivity right away.

After initial setup I noticed the remote had strange logic. Rather than elaborate on this I'll go on to the fix. Disconect the HDMI cable and reconnect it(With TV and BD player powered down). I also unplugged the players power cord & reconnected it. After these two trouble shooting tips the unit works perfectly. No complaints. Except the possible exception . . . the players LED display is very dim. Even on the brightest setting. Works OK at night though. Overall I am very pleased. Excellent price and fast shipping. Blu-Ray playback is superb!

For the price, I was not expecting the picture and
colors to be this good. I replaced an 2 year old Panasonic that more features than this one and the
DMP-BD75 has a better picture and color than the
one I replaced. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75 Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I mounted up two 32" Panasonic LCD TVs and, based on all the reviews, ordered up two of these Blu-ray players. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. Best bang for the buck out there. As a bonus, with same Company gear (TV and Blu-ray), setup was effortless. As inconsequential as it sounds, the remote has a dedicated Netflix "hot button", which makes the Netflix experience effortless. Like most Blu-ray players, Netflix browsing is rather clunky so it's best to setup your instant queue on a PC, then enjoy the fruits of your labor streaming through the player. In summary, if you don't need a wireless unit, this player is probably going to be your best bet.

The player is easily integrated Panasonic Home Theatre system I have at home.
Simple, simple, without many complications.
Consider buying a HDMI cable as these teams do not bring it (or very few that bring, but BH is for everyone)
I am satisfied and pleased by the bluray player.

This product is for home use on a bedroom TV
THe product was excellent quality for the price and is upgradable.
The product did not have better analog connectors such as composite or S video jacks only HMDI and component jacks. Not very compatable with older TVs

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75 Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I bought this for use with my HD LED Flatscreen TV, and it was mainly to replace my DVD player which was uncompatable with the new TV. The DMP-BD75 was affordable and highly rated (via consumer reports), so I figured, "Why not?."
The Blu-Ray experience is pretty amazing, and this is a reasonably priced unit to buy into the experience. It's backwardly compatible for viewing DVD's and CD's - my main usage here.
I had a little trouble getting the TV to "see" the player via HDMI connector, so at first the setup was very frustrating. But after powering down the TV, replacing the HDMI cable with another one, the setup menu finally displayed, and the DMP-BD75 setup went smoothly, using the remote. (I learned a valuable lesson: Buy GOOD HDMI cables!)

This low-priced Panasonic delivers excellent overall picture quality and a lot of features for the money. It includes access to online content, including streaming movies from CinemaNow, Netflix, and VUDU, plus Napster music. It's also a DLNA-compliant model that can access photos, movies and music stored on a PC or other compatible device via a network connection. Given its low price and useful features, it's a great buy.

Use it for DVD and NetFlix streaming. Easy to use, excellent picture quality. It has stereo RCA audio out, which I needed for wireless earphones. Use it with high quality plasma and get great picture.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75 Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I use this for regular BD playback and streaming video content. I also use it to review footage from my camcorder.
Setup was a breeze. I have it connected to the internet via a CAT-5 cable. I love the AVCHD playback support (to playback video from my camcorder) and it works seamlessly with my Panasonic Viera plasma TV. The low-profile look is great too.
The buttons on the remote are a little crowded. I had trouble with the directional buttons at first when I was trying to use it without looking down.
The only application I really use is Netflix. The Netflix interface is good, but pretty slow for browsing. Content loads quickly, however.
I wish it had Pandora installed instead of Napster. (Who uses Napster anymore?)
I love the 24P support.
