The Panasonic DMP-B200 Portable Blu-ray Disc Player is a compact Blu-ray player with multi-format playback capabilities and high definition 1080p playback. Its 8.9" LCD widescreen allows you to enjoy your favorite Blu-ray and DVD movies in brilliant SVGA high resolution while the articulating feature affords flexible viewing angles for optimum comfort.
With 1080p/24 output, you'll see your standard DVDs in HD-quality imaging, and it pairs perfectly with an HDTV. At native 24 frames per second (the way most films were shot and mastered), you'll see seamless, smooth images more like what you see in the theater.
Panasonic's sophisticated Pixel Progressive Processing for HD (P4HD) and digital noise reduction ensures you see premium quality imaging. It can also decode several advanced audio Dolby and DTS audio formats. Since most Blu-ray and DVD discs encode soundtracks using one or more of these formats, you can enjoy a detailed sound field if you have multi-channel surround speakers. This disc player also has Dialogue Enhancer which boosts the center channel output when used with multi-channel audio, so you won't miss a whisper of your favorite movies. With built-in stereo speakers and headphone output, you can enjoy your movies and music even in noisy environments.
The DMP-B200 also includes an SD card slot so you can enjoy your movies and photos instantly, as well as a movie photo frame function so you can see a JPEG or AVCHD slideshow on its high resolution LCD screen.
With the included car adapter, you're ready to hit the road. The included rechargeable battery lasts up to 4 hours, so it can tag along wherever you go. The DMP-B200 offers high performance audio and video processing in a compact package for portable use.

- The DMP-B200 features an 8.9" articulating LCD widescreen with crisp, clear SVGA (1024 x 600) resolution. You'll enjoy a clean, clear picture from almost any angle.
- 1080p/24 Output
- This disc player offers 1080p resolution output at 24 frames per second (fps) for a truly cinematic picture quality. It will upscale your standard DVDs to 1080p resolution as well so you can experience picture quality closer to that of Blu-ray discs.
- P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD)
- To get the best HD images from a Blu-ray disc, you need a player that renders high quality progressive images, expresses motion smoothly, and draws sharp diagonal lines. This portable player employs P4HD to process over 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimum processing to every pixel in the video data on the disc. THE PANASONIC DMP-B200 IS OUTSTANDING! I BOUGHT A PANASONIC PLASMA DISPLAY FROM B&H AND I AM SASTIFIED WITH PANASONIC'S REPUTATION & QUALITY. SO WHEN I LEARNED ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION OF THE DMP-200 I HAD TO HAVE ONE. THE CAPABILITIES OF THE PLAYER IS EXCELLENT. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS FANTASTIC, AND THE AUDIO IS CLEAR AND PLEASENT. I HAVE FOUND THAT THE START-UP TIME FOR A BLUE-RAY DISC IS ALOT FASTER THAN THE START-UP TIME OF MY PIONEER STAND-ALONE BLUE-RAY DISC PLAYER. THE BLUE-RAY DISCS THAT I HAVE CREATED MYSELF HAVE PLAYED WITH 100% ACCURACY. YES I AM PLEASED WITH THE DMP-200 AND WILL GET ALOT OF USE FROM IT.
