The Lastolite TriFlash by Joe McNally is a further refinement of the original TriFlash. In use, sometimes the positioning of the IR sensor can become problematic. This Joe McNally version features unique rotating shoes for all 3 flashes to ensure that the sensor on each flash "sees" the on-camera master flash. The mount also features an umbrella receptacle and a 5/8" (16 mm) stand mount.

Comments about Lastolite TriFlash Bracket by Joe McNally:
It's great. Works with my nikon flashes (of course as it's by Joe) but I can also fit the flex TT5 pocket wizards. I've used it and it seem to hold things well. It's tight getting your hands in there to tighten the screws, but when you look at the picture... just rotate the heads, put on what you need, and then you can crank them down easily and then point the flash where you like. It's solid, well built, and it should last. I'm probably going to pick up one more of these guys. Personally, I'd prefer the joe label to be etched into the metal and for it to be more subtle and to minimize even further our impact on the planet. You'll love this product though. The value will come from it lasting so long.

Comments about Lastolite TriFlash Bracket by Joe McNally:
I partly bought this bracket because it had Joe's name on it. There was another bracket cheaper by a bit, but I knew McNally would have it done right. He did. This thing is built like a tank, love the way the cold shoes turn, and it just feels real good in the hands. Well done. I am looking forward to lots of use out of this thing, and I am real tough on gear. Photo gear for me is just a tool, Hammers, drills, same thing.
Thanks Joe for a good build, though think Lastolite did the build but at least they listened. Have already got a pro buddy buying one.

Comments about Lastolite TriFlash Bracket by Joe McNally:
I use this with three 430 EXIIs and my Pocket Wizards to create a very lightweight portable lighting setup. Add a lightweight stand, camera, and a couple of lenses and the total combination is still compact enough for one photographer to carry around and utilize w/o a lot of assistants. I played with it for a little bit without using radio triggers and the rotating cold shoe attachments definitely help the IR reception from a 580EX II.

A great way to use multiple flashes at once to give you a more power. The swivel heads allow you to angle your flashes in order to get light to all areas of your photograph. A must for any photographer.
