I know it did not say magnets to close, but wish it did. IT does the jobi for keep the IPAD safer from damage. The stand works okay but a bit hard to get it to work at first. it was not easy putting it on either, and it does not seem to sit in the case just right, it is off kilter a bit. For the price it is okay, but wish it was more.
