International Orders*The Vivotek VS8801 Rack-mount Design Video Server 8-Channelconverts analog video into digital video and allows transmission of real-time videos in H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats at a high frame rate of 30fps in D1 resolution. Designed for rack-mount solutions, the video server is easy to install and can integrate with existing analog systems.
Motion detection triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display. The video server supports a tamper detection feature, which triggers an alarm when the camera is being tampered with e.g. if it is redirected, blocked, defocused, or spray-painted. In addition to this, the server features triple-window motion detection that customizes the motion detection system to only monitor specific areas. The server also supports 8 digital Input/output, which allows you to use external digital input or output device or sensor as a trigger source.
As the 8-Channel video server supports 3GPP, you can monitor the camera via the 3GPP enabled cell phones. The 2-way audio support enables you to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator’s base station.
Security features such as password-protected multi-level user access, IP address filtering, HTTPS encrypted data transmission, and 802.1X port-based authentication are also included. The video server also includes RS-485 interface for PTZ camera control and built-in SD/SDHC card slot for data storage. The video server is compatible with 12VDC / 24VAC power input and supports Giga LAN for large transmissions. The 32-channel Vivotek recording software allows you to simultaneously monitor and record videos for multiple network cameras.
