Comments about Sony CMU-BR100 Skype Camera/Microphone:
We recently purchased a new Sony Bravia LED TV and the Sony CMU-BR100 Skype camera. The picture quality is fair but distortions in the background are common. The microphone on the camera is terrible (either have to be very close to TV or shout at the mike for it to pick up any sound) - have had Sony rep back out to check out and still have terrible audio output. Receiving side only hears 1 word out of every 4 words spoken and very scratchy sounding. Very disappointed as the TV is 55" LED and excellent value. We thought it would be great to have Skype on TV for seeing and listening to all the grandkids at same time. Save your money and stress, don't buy the Sony Skype camera

Comments about Sony CMU-BR100 Skype Camera/Microphone:
It took a call to Sony to finally get this up and running, but once done it works well--picture is clear though not as large on screen as I would have preferred. Sound picks up across the room.
