The student-proof M29TZ Advanced Zoom Stereo Microscope from Swift is a durable, budget-friendly option for the classroom. It features the good name of the Swift brand, synthetic gear lubricants for smooth operation, and a limited lifetime warranty. Other student-friendly aspects of the microscope include the manufacturer's slip-clutch system, which prevents damage to the focusing mechanism, a cord-hanger for safe cord storage, and locked-on eyepieces to ensure that all parts stay with the microscope.
The M29TZ has a 10x-40x magnification with 10x eyepieces, on a 45° trinocular head. Both the left and right eye can be adjusted for each user's interpupillary distance. The head is also 360° rotatable, facilitating use between two students. Dual adjustable LED sources allow optimal control of lighting, with virtually no heat. The stage area provides a large platform for specimens; additionally, reversible black and white and frosted stage plates are included.
