Anton Bauer QRC-Dual PT Gold Mount for Sony PMW-F3
Anton Bauer's QRC-Dual PT Gold Mount is designed for use with Sony's PMW-F3 camcorder or AJA's Ki Pro Mini external recorder. Mounting behind the camera via a 3rd party rod/rail system or directly onto the Ki Pro Mini, the plate allows use of Anton Bauer's industry-standard Gold Mount batteries. With its hardwired 4-pin XLR connector, this universal mount feeds power directly to the camera or recorder while also powering 12V accessories via integrated PowerTap.
- PowerTap Receptacle
- This original Anton/Bauer feature allows a camera mounted Ultralight, wireless microphone, hard drive or other DC accessory to be powered from the camera battery. The integral cable of the popular Ultralight 2 includes a PowerTap plug that mates directly with the PowerTap receptacle in the Gold Mount. The PowerTap is internally fused for safety.
- Automatique
- A special power circuit in all Sony, JVC and Panasonic Gold Mounts and for other cameras allows an Ultralight to turn on/off automatically with the record button. This feature minimizes battery drain from a light that is left on unnecessarily.
- InterActive Viewfinder "Fuel Gauge"
- The Gold Mount includes a special InterActive contact that transmits the patented fuel computer signal from a DIGITAL battery to the camera's viewfinder so you know how much battery time is remaining.
- Future Compatibility
- Unlike obsolete box style battery holders, the Gold Mount is fully compatible with the many different sizes and shapes of new cell technologies under development. The Gold Mount will also allow old and new technology batteries to be used together interchangeably to avoid the inevitable sudden and costly transition to a new battery format.
- Universal Application
- Gold Mount brackets can be easily installed on all portable equipment including monitors, scopes, microwave equipment, hard drives, etc. This versatility eliminates the problems of having different and incompatible batteries/chargers in the field. Companies including Cinedeck, Telecast-Fiber Systems-A Belden Brand, Optech Inc., Sennheiser, Convergent-Design and Lectrosonics have incorporated the Gold Mount System on some of their products.

Using a Zaccuto Zwiss plate, this Anton Bauer product works perfectly with the AJA Ki Pro Mini and the Sony F3. And the Zwiss plate is pre-drilled and tapped to match the screw on this AB mounting plate!
