The Rebel T3 Starter Kit is good value, compared with the cost of an individual camera bag & battery. I consider the cable to be a bonus that I may or may not use in future. The battery & the camera bag are the Canon brand. However, I was surprised to find that the cable is a Belkin. Canon does make this type of cable, so I really don't understand why a Canon kit doesn't include its own brand of cable? Overall, I'm pleased with the kit. The camera bag is much larger than I expected, and pretty solid (i.e. firm material). It is very bulky to carry around, and I will use it mainly for everyday storage of my camera equipment/accessories, and for travel. If I remove the lens hood from my 55-250mm lens, the camera fits perfectly in the bag with the lens attached. I have a fairly bulky, padded neckstrap, which easily fits into this bag. I don't have a lot of accessories at present, so my 18-55mm lens, spare battery, cleaning materials, lens hood/cap, camera manual etc. easily fit with room to spare. The fastener at the front allows for quick & easy access to my camera etc., and I really like the adjustable inner dividers, which enable a personalized configuration. At the time I placed my order, B&H's price for the kit was either comparable or less than the cost elsewhere. The delivery was fast & efficient - good product, great service!

I have been searching for the Canon T3 starter kit in Canada for over a year now and was unable to find one specific to this camera. The service at B & H was amazing and the sales person I spoke to was extremely helpful.

The bag is great, and it is nice to have another battery. I havnt used the cable yet, but it will be quite convienient when I need to show pictures to a larger crowd on the TV. Took the bag to a horse show and it just sat on my shoulder the entire time, and it was easy to get in and switch out lenses. I like that it has a lot of pockets, but it is almost to big. I had the bag on my shoulder for half a day and it was quite comfortable, no neck rubs or sores. I like the rain flap, you can just buckle it down without zipping the top and your camera and lenses are secure with a quick and easy unbukle access.
