Fujifilm LH-X100 Lens Hood with Adapter Ring for the X100 Camera (Silver)
The silver LH-X100 Lens Hood with Adapter Ring from Fuji is for the X100 camera. This metal adapter ring replaces the lens ring that comes with the camera and bayonet mounts with the lens hood. In addition to bayoneting with the hood, it can also be used for mounting 49mm filters.
The metal lens hood helps minimize flare by providing shade to the optic. It also guards the lens against incidental bumps and abrasions. It also contains a slit that prevents it from blocking the viewfinder.

Works great for the outdoor shoots with sun flare issues. Blends in with the camera very nicely , a bit pricey compared to the aftermarket ones out there. But I've found same manufacture items are just a better fit and finish most of the time

If you want a more pro look for the Finepix x100 and you want decent solar protection and a full scratch protection go for it. The cons is that if you are using the leather case it won't fit....I actually just left the lower part of my case on.

The LH-X100 lens hood is used my Fuji X100 camera. It fits beautifully, adds greatly to the camera's appearance, and, importantly, performs well as both a stray light shield and a mechanical "bumper" for lens protection. The adapter allows easy mounting of all standard 49mm filters (including a circular polarizer).
