Comments about Novatron Coarse Honeycomb Grid with Gel Holder:
Although a bit expensive, this little gem is a must for people using the Novatron head system. Fo many years, people gaffer taped, duct taped and clipped gels and other items onto theier flash heads. Because of the head design-being rounded both on the outside case and the inside reflector, attaching things to Novatron heads are very problematic. This grid and filter holder does the job very nicely. Its primary function of controlliong the direction of the light, is very good. It takes the wide spread nature of the flash, and brings it down into a more directional beam. Great for food and product shoots and nice for backlighting and direct sidelighting portraits. It is really a must to have one of two of these in your light kit.

Bought two of them. Use them on my two back lights for rim lighting. Great results!

Comments about Novatron Coarse Honeycomb Grid with Gel Holder:
This Novatron honeycomb grid is a well made light modifier that works perfectly with the Novatron strobes (for which it is made). It is of sturdy construction, easy to use and does what a grid is supposed to do. I like the slots the grid has for gels and diffusion paper.
