The Celestron LCD Handheld Digital Microscope is an entry-level microscope designed to give the young and old alike a closer look at the world around them on the large 2.4" LCD. Powered by 2 'AA' batteries, the microscope is portable for hours of fun, with 3.5x and 50x optical power for an impressive view of the chosen specimens.
In addition to a microscope's basic job of making the unseen visible, this handheld model also features a built-in 3Mp digital camera. Snapshots can be saved to the internal 128MB memory, or to SD cards up to 8GB. Other features of the microscope include 4x digital zoom, a focus knob, adjustable LED illumination, and a USB port for easy upload of images to a computer.
