The RK-DVD24T Digital Audio Coaxial RCA Cable (8') from Sony is a general-purpose digital audio cable, ideal for connecting a media device such as a Blu-ray player to a home theater system. The cable has gold-plated RCA male connectors at each end.
The cable has a 99.99% pure oxygen-free copper core wire for excellent signal transmission. The core wire is spot-welded to the terminal connections (solderless joints) for optimal data transfer and improved audio quality. The cable is also double-shielded with aluminum tape and a braided shield for reduced RF interference and improved sound quality, and it also has a 75 ohm impedance for further interference reduction. The cable is environmentally friendly, with no cadmium or lead used in its construction.
