I've used many other brands of Express Cards SATA II but nothing better than Lacie's.
Don't think about it, get it.

Comments about LaCie SATA II ExpressCard/34:
Works fine for backups in my Macbook Pro, but won't allow boot from the esata disk. I hear some other cards do allow that. Pops out of the slot easily - is that a Mac thing or this card? Don't know.

Comments about LaCie SATA II ExpressCard/34:
Plug & play with my 2009 5,1 MBP and couldn't be happier with the speed of the data transfers. Works great although ejecting the card from my laptop while the computer is running causes an immediate kernel panic & shutdown.
