I use the Touch to listen to my home CD collection in digital format without compromising quality (in lossless format FLAC) and internet radio stations (Pandora, Radio Paradise, KFOG). I am currently ripping my CDs to FLAC and playing wirelessly from a PC with a USD drive attached. I may try to attached the hard drive to the Touch itself once I am done ripping but that likely will not be soon.
I purchased the product with trepidation due to some mixed reviews on the networking knowledge required and poor support from Logitech, but so far, I have had few issues and got it up and running in less than 30 minutes.
So far I am delighted! Sound is amazing. I feel like I have finally joined the 21st century, and I will now actually listen to my many dust covered CDs that were long being neglected. Being a purist, I have long avoided the iPod route due to my dislike of lossy formats like MP3.
Only thing I don't like is the Touch screen is not easy to see from my LR sofa and the remote is very basic (unlike the Duet remote).

The squeezebox is a good idea and when I first got it I thought it was great. But the constant required software updates for the server software that runs on the computer and the updates that are constantly being pushed down to the squeezebox make the thing stop working all of the time. Then I end up spending an hour or more getting my music working again. Once you get it working the way you want to there is no way to turn the updates off so you end up fixing everything again in a couple of weeks.

Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi Music Player:
I use it mostly to receive Pandora but was plauged by it constantly timing out that required me to go back to my play list to start it again. Finally was advised by a Logitech technician that this problem was common to many owners and that Pandora and Logitech were working to resolve it.

Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi Music Player:
Got this for christmas and haven't got to use it too much yet but set up was easy and the interface works well. It was easy to set up streaming from my computer hard drive to the Squeezebox as well as Pandora streaming which both work well on this. Tried to use the smart phone app but not too succesful with that yet. Love the fact that I can get other stations besides commercial with this as well as stations from around the world. Adds to the cool factor as well as the variety of music I can get.

Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi Music Player:
I purchased this product based on positive reviews in the audio press. However, buyer beware ... there is very little in the way of instructions that come with the product or on the Logitech web page for using the Squeezebox to stream music from a computer. I am still struggling to do that and getting little help from Logitech. The basic internet radio function works well ... e.g. Pandora, or tuning in to a specific station.

Comments about Logitech Squeezebox Touch Wi-Fi Music Player:
I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a streaming music player. Logitech does not support this product and the server software (which is required to use the device to play your music) is absolutely terrible.
To get the device and server software to function properly you need to experienced programmer willing and able to debug the horrible software.
I repeat: DO NOT buy the product.

All I can say is that I think that it is a great product. Once set-up it can easily integrate other Squeezebox products, which I plan to do.
I did run into a problem with my Windows 7 firewall that frustrated but a helpful on-line community helped me troubleshoot it in one night. Bonus!!

I wanted a way to use USB Flash drives and SD cards to transport music to my DAC. This was so much better than what I anticipated!!! I believe if used with the proper equipment, it is certainly the biggest secret in audio I have seen!

I use it wirelessly from my computer to my stereo in the sunporch.
Very Easy to setup. Like having all my music on one menu and is a very cool device.
Sometimes lose the connection and sometimes it selects a different song than the one I picked. Still worth the money though.
