I needed a storage for my nature photos. This 2TB external drive gives mush more then what I needed. I use USB 2.0 and it is fast and the size is just right. I am very happy with this purchase and will buy another one for additional backup.

Upon arrival disk didn't work...led was lighting but it is reported as malfunction by Windows. Since I had problems with HDD in my HP laptop I bought on bhphotovideo.com 6 months ago (HDD died and needed replacement after 20 days) I thought how lucky I am...HP again...but after little 'shaking' it started and it works since...I loaded about 400GB so far and using usb 3.0 it is fast, but takes a while to wake up...Overall, I am satisfied so far, and I hope it will stay that way..

Works well with my HP which runs my Avid edit system. Adequate for all the video and graphic storage I need. It's fast storing and retreiving and a good size for my limited space. I've only had it a short time, so I hesitate to give five stars because these external drives, I have found, are fragile and don't last long. I hope this one goes for years.
