The SLR Camera Case from Aquapac is designed to fit most consumer SLRs with standard lenses up to 4" (10.2cm) including all bodies which use an APS/DX sensor, and some smaller bodies with full sensor. The tough thermoplastic polyurethane casing protects your gear from dust, dirt and that most evil of contaminants - sand.
The casing contains a permanently attached tough acrylic lens that will work even underwater. Even if you aren't swimming but drop the case in water, it will float; but don't worry since the seams are all welded for additional protection.
The Aquaclip sealing mechanism is easy to use and opens and closes the bag via dual twist levers. Aquapac has included five desiccant sachets that will help minimize the harmful effects of humidity. The included shoulder strap makes it even more portable. Whether for snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, romping on the beach or any activity near or on water, this case will permit you to record family memories that you will cherish for decades.
Note! Canon 5D, 1D, Nikon D3, D700 are too big

Great tool to create underwater shots with your DSLR or similar seized video camera. The housing makes a solid impression and most important of all: It keeps the inside watertight and protects your valuable equipment.

Very hard to use for underwater photography because it flows and requires some wheights to keep camera underwater.
It is ok for outdoor use in wet environment.

Comments about Aquapac SLR Camera Case (5.75 x 5.0 x 2.8", Cool Gray):
We used this product for a trip beach trip that we took recently. The product is as advertised, but looking back on it, we would not repeat this purchased. It was more trouble to put the camera in and out of the bag, and I was constantly worried about it not sealing up properly, even though we never had an issue. If you are definitely going to be submerging your camera, it maybe worth getting this product, but if you are getting it to simply try and protect your gear from accidental damage, I would not worry about it. In the end we just made sure we were extra careful and after 1 day of using the waterproof bag, decided it was not worth the extra effort. Taking pictures also more awkward which is also factored into this decision.
