The Red Pod Bean Bag Camera Support from The POD is a durable bean bag camera support that stabilizes a compact camera when braced against a table, car, railing, bench, tree, or any other surface. It's light and compact enough to stay on your camera when traveling and works very well in low light situations where tripods are unwelcome, such as museums, churches, galleries, etc. The Red Pod has a built-in 1/4" universal mounting bolt.

Very useful for run and gun video. Fit to places usually hard to place like a dashboard of a car etc. Excellent to put on a ski/trekking pole to shoot video while moving fast on the trail. Very quick to fit and stable. The bottom is a bit slippery, but it could be use as a slider sometimes on smooth surfaces. I own three of them.

I use the pod while I am taking pictures with my T2i and rest it on my truck window. Sometimes on a tree branch,and on the porch rail.
The pod helps me hold my camera very steady when I have a bigger lens on camera.
I only wish it had a softer cover, instead of the plastic type bottom and wish it came in a camo pattern.
I love my pod!
