Denon DHT-1312BA Home Theater System
The Denon DHT-1312BA Home Theater System just might be the ultimate 3D TV and Blu-ray disc player home theater system. It's certainly got the features, specs and that famous Denon quality to be a leading contender for the title. The DHT-1312BA was paired with the AVR-1312 A/V home theater receiver and MCS160 surround sound speaker system from Boston Acoustics.
The AVR-1312 includes 1080p compatible HDMI ports with 3D pass-through (4 in/1 out), HD audio decoding, and a total output of 650 watts for 5 channels. The DHT-1312BA has Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio variations plus a few of its own sound modes. The DHT-1312BA also features dock connectivity for iPod and network streaming.
The unit is equipped with a power amplifier that reproduces high fidelity sound in surround mode with equal quality and power for all channels, true to the original sound. The power amplifier circuit adopts a discrete-circuit configuration that achieves high quality surround sound reproduction.
Lastly, simple settings are enabled with the setting menus displayed on the TV screen. When you control the sound volume, the volume level is displayed on the screen, and when you switch the input source, the name of the input source is displayed.

My husband and I decided to purchase a new surround sound system because the one we had kept cutting out. We shopped around and read a lot of reviews. The top pick was 4 times the cost of the Denon which came in second. We decided to go with the Denon and after the quick and simple setup we were ready to watch a movie. My husband chose to watch Transformers 3 and when the Paramount stars came across the screen before the movie even begins, and the "Transformers" sound was heard my husband had a huge grin on his face! I actually played that part twice just to see his face light up like that again, lol. The sound quality is like being in an actual movie theatre!!! We watch even more movies now than we did before because of how amazing the sound is. Don't waste your money on the #1 ranked system when you can have just as good, if not better for 1/4th the price!!!
