This cable functions perfectly for connecting an NEC PA-series monitor to a Mac. If you are using a PA271 or PA301, most sources seem to recommend connecting using DisplayPort in preference to dual-link DVI. As of April 2012, NEC has been including this cable with some monitors delivered in Australia, and inclusion of this part might become standard policy in the future. If you are buying a new PA-series monitor, it could be worth checking if this cable will be included or not.
