Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
Didn't really get this thing for rain, I like to shoot birds in the marshes and swamps, and those things can really drop a huge mess! Didn't want to try to clean off a stinking load of bird droppings off my gear, this will do the trick.

Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
Last year because of the rain, I have to pay almost $300 dollars for replacing the zoom ring of my 28-300mm lens. Now I have no problem taking photos under the rain.

Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
I bought this rain cover for shooting a 5k race and it worked perfectly. The weather was absolutely horrible and it poured the entire time. I was able mount the camera on a tripod, connect a remote shutter release, and run it out the bottom of the cover, so I was able to keep my hands in my pockets. I was not fearful of damaging my camera because the design of the cover is so good and it fits over the camera and lens perfectly. The elastic strap secures the cover with a velcro strip taughtly. The window allows access to all of the controls on top and back and the LCD camera window is clearly visible through the cover. Used the cover with a 28-135mm lens on my 50D. You easily have enough material to cover up a 300mm. I would certainly recommend this product.

Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
I found this rain-cover a little expensive - however, it is made of high quality materials [*] This item, in this size, is meant for use with a lens of maximum size of EF 70-200mm

Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
Would have given it 5 stars if it would have been smaller. Large when used with my 70-300L and 17-55 f2.8 lenses. Nice quality and design, they just need to make an extra small version.

Comments about Canon ERC-E4S Small EOS DSLR Rain Cover:
I've used rain covers in the past, but they always seemed a bit cumbersome. It's about time Canon put one out for their gear.
I can't wait for the first rainstorm here in Chicago to test how well this works. It fits over my 40D and 100-400/4-5.6 IS beautifully.
