Vello Glass LCD Screen Protector for Panasonic LX5 & Leica D-LUX 5
The Vello Glass LCD Screen Protector for Panasonic LX5 & Leica D-LUX 5 is a sheet of 0.02" (0.5mm) ultra-thin optical glass used to protect your camera's LCD monitor. The glass features 6 layers of protective material that protect your display screen from dirt, scratches, sweat and oily fingerprints. The glass also blocks UV rays while allowing visible light in. The protector is easy to install and remove.
Note! Environments with excessive heat and humidity will shorten the useful life of the adhesive on the glass.

This screen protector is designed to fit the Leica so precisely that once installed it truly looks like it was always there. The only negative is that it doesn't provide any discernable anti-reflective qualities.

I like to protect my LCD screens from scratches and other damage. Despite my best care and efforts to protect my equipment, accidents do happen! I'm the original Nervous Nellie when it comes to applying objects like pre-glued LCD screens ever so precisely on an LCD screen. The Vello LCD screen protector installed perfectly and easily. It looks great and you would never know it was an "add-on"!

After months of searching for a good screen protector, I took a punt and purchased Vello portectors for all of my cameras; LX5 specifically in this case.
Integrates perfectly with the camera. I actually had forgotten it was on the camera until recently.

Purchased for the Panasonic LX-5 & Leica D-Lux 5. Actually like it better than the Giottos glass protectors. The reason being the adhesive used by Vello, sticks better. The Giottos protectors tend to fall off.
