O speedlight integrado possui i-TTL para flash preciso e equilibrado o tempo todo.

I bought the D5100 because of price and what I use it for the most, which is shooting real estate pictures and quick shots that I dont have time to pull out my the F5 on which I love, I still have and use my Nikon N2000 along with my F5 and D5100. I still like film so will have both to play with. Its very easy and temting to go completely digital but I just csnt cut loose from film. I originaly was thinking of the D7000 but right now dont need that much camera and the D5100 fit the bill for me now, there will probably be a time for a D800 which will give my F5 a run for its money. Ive never had a bad experience with Nikon products good thing I listened to my Dad.

I bought the Nikon D5100 as a step-up from my beloved D40. In the end, though, the problems with the camera (for my usage) outweighed the benefits. I purchased it thinking that I would use it primarily for still images, but also a lot of video, as I work in videography on the side. The D5100 has a great image sensor, and adequate movie options to get by, and it comes in at a great price point. However, these are some primary issues I ran into.
- Video control is inadequate. Based on my experience, it's impossible to lock in a particular shutter speed, which is critical to the so-called "film look" that everyone wants. While it IS possible to lock exposure, there seems to be no way to dial in a particular exposure either.
- Still photography looks great thanks to the amazing sensor borrowed from the D7000. However, the camera is cumbersome and awkward to use because almost any setting requires extensive menu-based changes. In other words, there are not enough shortcut buttons or custom menu panes to allow for speedy adjustment. This is fine if you're out taking pictures of flowers, but for events, action, etc. it just won't work.
- This is kind of trivial, but the camera is very small and doesn't fit well into my normal-to-large hands.
- Finally, this camera will not provide an extensible platform for building up technology. It is not compatible enough with Nikon or third-party accessories. There is no Nikon battery grip, for example. I wanted a camera I could use as the starting point to build a DSLR cinema rig or explore advanced photography lighting later on. The D5100 is not that camera.
Those are the main reasons I was dissatisfied with the D5100. However, I WOULD still recommend the camera under certain circumstances.
- It is very inexpensive for its feature set. Sure, it can be hard to change settings, but in all fairness there is a lot of power in those menus. This is a well-specced upper-entry-level camera for the price.
- If you are the kind of person who will mostly use Auto settings or don't have access to image post-processing software on a computer, this may be the camera for you. If it's used as a really nice point-and-shoot, it will definitely win out in terms of image quality over just about anything else in its price range, and it has built-in effects and image editing that can be handy if you don't have Photoshop or something.
- If the only video you may ever want to take is of your dog chasing a frisbee or your friend's kid at a party, then this camera will work well. It is a good photography camera, albeit with the slightly clumsy operation as a caveat to its practical performance. Its main competitor (in my opinion), the Canon T3i, lags behind the D5100 in terms of image quality. However, if this camera's price represents the top end of your budget, and you want to make movies with a DSLR, check out the T3i.
Those are my thoughts on this camera. It has an awesome image sensor and great quality. It's affordable and convenient and easy to understand. If you've never owned an SLR and are not into video, give the D5100 a shot. Personally, I need something more robust that can grow with me and that has good video capabilities, so I'm looking more into the midrange Nikon and Canon lineups.

I am an advanced amateur and have always had nikon products. The 5100 is versatile and easy to use. The exposure on all sorts of shots has been spot on. the effects and scenes are useful not just a gimmick. Only negative I can think of is the lens cap should come with an attachment to the strap.Highly recommended..I bought one and my daughter has one also.

I am an amature photographer, and have only been using this camera for a few weeks. It is my first DSLR.But I love this camera and would recommend it to anyone. And B & H is maybe the best company I have dealt with. Since I am still learning about the camera I can't say much about it's better points. But I haven't found any bad points.

Comments about Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera With 18-55mm VR Lens:
I received this camera as a gift for my birthday in January 2012, and I was ecstatic. I took loads of pictures and I love every single one that I take. The pictures come out clear, and crisp and I feel very professional. The moving LCD screen is also a plus that I wish other cameras had! However, I'm not sure if I'm just a quick learner from my DSLR classes that I take, but I feel like I have explored every part of this camera and there isn't much else in it to discover. What's great about this camera is the settings, when you use them correctly the pictures come out beautiful. But sometimes the LCD screen looks weird and I have to zoom in for it to look better. It's great for entry-level but I feel like I've outgrown it and I want to grow more with a more professional camera! The battery also dies way too fast.. I take a video or two on a full battery and its already at one bar! It's also frustrating when the shutter release is disabled when the battery gets low.

Comments about Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera With 18-55mm VR Lens:
This is my first DSLR and I liked it very much. I use it regularly with a 18-55 kit and 55-300 lens. I assigned the function key to change the ISO. So practically I can control all the features for a normal photography through the buttons. I do go to menu to take photos in HDR photos. But that is the only thing I have to use menu while taking photos.
This is very easy to use and light weight to carry around.
The picture quality is the best selling point for this camera.
Good ISO Performance. I never worry about taking photos at ISO800 or even sometimes at 1200. It still gives better photos.
Tilt / Swivel feature is good to have but I dont use it regularly.
Some say it has poor battery life. But the battery never stopped me from taking a photo.
Oh! one more thing. My daughter once pulled the strap of my camera with lens on it, from the table and it fell on hard floor. I did not find any scratches or any other kind of damages on it. It stll works like as it was before... I am quite happy with it. But I will keep this away from my daughter's reach for her own safety, also I dont want to take risk again with the camera.

My first DSRL. Auto settings are quite easy to use for beginners, however the more advanced features offer a lot of possibilities once you start learning how to use them.
The sensor is the same as the higher end D7000, so the pictures look great and build quality is excellent.

Light weight, easy to use! Takes great photos! I couldn't have asked for a better camera. I just started my own photography business and upgrade from a d80 to the d5100. This camera does so much and seems easier to use than the d80. I like the menu and options, there are a lot to choose from but the menu is easy to maneuver around. GREAT PRODUCT!

I bought the Nikon D5100 as my first camera of the more professional type, and i was at first scared that it would be too complicated for me to use, bu t as i got it i easily understood what to do, and the pictures look great. I also think that my pictures will keep improving as i learn more about photographing and the camera. I would really recommend this camera to anyone who loves taking pictures, and you don't have to be a professional photographer.

I wanted a camera that wouldn't break the bank and still perform. This camera fit the bill perfectly. It has the same sensor as the more expensive Nikon D7000. It is smaller than most DSLR bodies, but still packed with features. The body has a very solid feeling to it.
The lens is the standard kit lens. Not too fast and not too sharp, but still a good lens nonetheless.
