The iKan 7" HD-SDI LCD Monitor with Peaking & False Color adds Peaking and False Color functionality to all the regular features of a standard VX7 monitor. Peaking is a tool that can be used to highlight the desired focus area on the screen, in color or B/W, and that way attain sharp focusing. False Color helps you achieve accurate exposure control by indicating brightness levels for each color spectrum in the image as you adjust the iris on the camera.

The VX7e is an inexpensive on camera monitor that blends the right size and weight with the high resolution needed by video professionals. With a full complement of HD-SDI, HDMI, HD/SD component and composite inputs as well as support for multiple resolutions, the VX7e readily interfaces with virtually any video device. A unique feature of this monitor is the ability to convert an SDI input signal to an analog component output signal in the monitor. High grade BNC connectors ensure a stable and secure connection between monitor and video source device.

The VX7e delivers a high resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which together with a high brightness level of 300 NIT and a 400:1 contrast ratio ensures a clear, well lit, and well defined picture. Front panel controls make it easy to adjust picture parameters without having to access a menu system. There are also additional test functions such as movable pixel by pixel, underscan, and a blue gun tool function.
