The AT4053b Hypercardioid Condenser Microphone Kit 2 is a B&H Kit that features the AT4053b from Audio Technica, a microphone engineered to meet the critical acoustic requirements of professional recording, broadcast and sound reinforcement. Its hypercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source.
The microphone is complimented by an InVision microphone suspension system from Rycote, a 7+ foot cabled boom pole from K-Tek, a boom pole bag and a long, right-angled XLR cable. Kit 2 is the same as Kit 1 other than the improved suspension in this kit.
The AT4053b Hypercardioid Condenser Microphone from Audio-Technica features a professional-quality shotgun design, suitable for field and studio use. It consists of the company's AT4900b-48 microphone body and AT4053b-EL hypercardioid head capsule, providing a hypercardioid pickup pattern for minimizing off-axis noise and improving the isolation of your desired sound source. The microphone's internal transformerless circuitry reduces distortion and provides correlation of high-speed transients. There is a direct-coupled balanced output for a clean signal under high-output conditions and a strong turned-brass housing for durability. A switchable high-pass filter reduces low frequency noise, and a -10 dB pad picks up loud sound sources. The package includes a microphone stand clamp, a windscreen, and carrying case.

The Rycote INV-6 InVision Microphone Suspension addresses the demand for a professional, Rycote-quality shockmount in the studio, conference settings and speech capturing applications.
The entire mount is comprised of two large InVision lyres with two clips that accommodate microphone bodies measuring 19 to 25mm in diameter. The lyres rest on a bar with a 3/8" threaded stand adapter at the base.
The stand adapter itself features an integrated cable clip for securing excess cable and minimizing noise. The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.

The K-Tek KE-89CC Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole provides a moderately priced, lightweight boompole solution for ENG, EFP, and other field recording applications.
