The Philips 7" Portable Multi-System DVD Player PET741E is a handy portable entertainer that is both NTSC and PAL compatible. That means it plays virtually any DVD movie, so wherever you are in the world you can enjoy your favorites. It supports a host of playback formats for your movies, music and photos to offer a wide range of entertainment options. These are displayed in clear high resolution on the widescreen 7" LCD color display.
The PET741E offers built-in stereo speakers as well as Dolby Digital decoding to offer you high quality audio for your movies and music. With a built-in headphone jack, you can listen privately in any environment. It also comes with a car adapter for portable use and a universal power adapter. The built-in rechargeable battery offers up to two hours of playback time on a single charge.
Additional conveniences include a disc menu, fast forward and backward, repeat, shuffle play and zoom capabilities. Additionally, battery charging indication and sturdy shock-proof construction add to the appeal of this multi-system disc player. Combined with its versatile playback options and convenient features, the PET741E also features a compact size that makes it the ideal travelling partner. At just over a pound, you can easily fit it into a travelling bag for hours of entertainment.

This portable DVD is using us for trips but also as a DVD player at home. We purchased it since we needed a DVD player that read other zones than the US zone ( Europian zone) and so it can use us at our weekends vacations.
For our needs - it works perfect. The battery life is short but the cable charge for the car helps us with it.
At the end - good product and great price!!!
