The Linhof 003661 Right-Angle Adapter is a 90° adapter for the company's 3D Micro Leveling Geared head. The horizontal portion attaches to the quick-release element of the 3D Micro head, and the vertical portion contains a second quick-release element for attaching a camera plate & camera.
Using the 3D Micro head along with the 003661 Right-Angle Adapter establishes a stronger connection with a camera for "portrait mode" photography than, for example, using a ball head tilted 90°. The adapter uses the 003877 Quick Fix camera plate that comes with the 3D Micro head.
