The Glyph Technologies 2TB GTKEY3800-2000 Hot-Swappable Hard Drive Cartridge, featuring 7,200 / 5,900 RPM drives and an Oxford 924 chip, is suitable for transfer and storage of audio and video. It has an average seek time of 8ms and a 100MB/sec maximum transfer rate. The cartridge uses Glyph's proprietary integrity FireWire 800 interface that allows it to be interchanged among the GT 051, GT 103, GT 205, and GT 308 FireWire enclosures. FireWire 800 GT Keys are backward-compatible with all GT Series FireWire 400 enclosures.

Featuring SATA's NCQ (Native Command Queuing) algorithm, the GTKEY3800-2000 reschedules and reorders commands for improved drive efficiency. Featuring a Key Lock on the front handle, and vents for front to back air flow, the cartridge is constructed with stainless steel fully surrounding the drive. Provided with the cartridge is a hard-molded, foam-lined, and impact-resistant plastic carrying case.
