The Samsung UN19D4003 19" Class LED HDTV packs a lot of features in a small package. It's ideal for the den, bedroom or dorm room and its piano black finish adds a stylish note to any room it's in.
Samsung's cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) LCD screen delivers a vivid, lifelike image with a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast. The UN19D4003 delivers the entire spectrum of color and luminance for rich, saturated images with intense detail. Two more features that enhance Blu-ray disc, DVD playback, TV viewing, and gaming are Wide Color Enhancer and SRS TruSurround HD.
Wide Color Enhancer optimizes a given color's hue, resulting in a more natural rendering of colors, while SRS TruSurround provides an incredible immersive sound environment from just two speakers by projecting "phantom speakers" that seem to be all around you. Walking down a creepy hallway in a video game or watching a baseball manager argue with the umpire will never be the same.
- Clear Motion Rate 60Hz
- Clear Motion Rate (CMR) is Samsung's more comprehensive and accurate way of measuring TV motion performance than the previously used Hz measurement. The previous system only measured the refresh rate of a TV panel. A TV's ability to deliver clear motion clarity goes beyond a panel's refresh rate. A CMR measurement is achieved by calculating the TV chipset and the backlight in addition to the panel's refresh rate resulting in a more realistic motion clarity metric. Simply put, the higher the CMR the clearer the picture quality
