I use this adapter to screw my Sony PCM-D1 digital recorder and Canon XA-10 camcorder onto the MixPre-D field mixer. Screws on very smoothly. Extremely convenient to have my equipment linked to the Mix-Pre D. This adapter unites the Mix Pre-D to whatever camcorder/camera/digital-recorder to form a single unit.
