The Tasco Trail Cam is a budget-friendly option in the world of trail cameras. If you're looking to track game for hunting or you just have an affinity for the outdoors, a trail cam is a great way to keep abreast of the movements of wildlife in a chosen area. Insert 4 'AA' batteries and set the camera up in your desired location. The camera's PIR sensor will capture 2 or 5Mp photos - depending on how you set the camera - whenever movement is detected in a 30' range of the camera. The camera will also capture night vision photos in the dark, using the built-in 15 LED flash. A B/W text LCD provides you with a preview of captured images. In addition to taking stills, the Trail Cam also captures video. Whether you're capturing stills or videos, however, all files can be stored to SD cards up to 16GB.

Comments about Tasco Trail Cam:
Unbelievably small, good speed, good quality daytime photos, infrared barely adequate, but for the price I won't complain. Easy to use, and if it gets stolen, not much is lost. They should all be this compact & fast.

Comments about Tasco Trail Cam:
Very good for its size and price. Good quality images of the day. Images burned a short distance at night. It has good sensitivity for detecting night less than 4 meters away. I use it for wildlife research, especially for cats and foxes

Comments about Tasco Trail Cam:
This is a Great unit for the money. It did not break the bank when I purchased it. Extremely easy to set up. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is the picture quality a little low. But you can still tell what your looking at. Remember your only paying around $80.00 for the camera. Great day and night pictures. Would and will buy more.

Comments about Tasco Trail Cam:
I have two of these cameras. I use them for bear baiting. They take great images at night and during the day. The only disadvantage is that I can not tell if they have pictures on them unless I swap out the cards. I have been very happy with the cameras and would purchase them again. I can say they are easy to set up and use, very portable, lightweight, only 4 AA bateries needed. I don't know about battery life, I have only had them 1 month with the same set of batteries.

Comments about Tasco Trail Cam:
This camera is very compact, and very easy to set up. Will hold up to a 16GB card which I really like. Has all the options I need; single, or three shot photo sequences, or you can choose video. Hi, or low resolution, and you can set the time between movement to activate another shot. On the con side the strap to hold it on tree is a bit cheep, could also be a tad longer. Over all great price for a really good camera.
