The durable and compact Altec Lansing IMT227 Orbit M Ultra-Portable Music Speaker is made for iPod and iPhone. It's also compatible with other MP3 players and music-enabled mobile phones, as well as laptops and portable audio devices with 3.5mm mini-jack connectivity. For increased mobile phone compatibility, the Orbit M comes with a 2.5mm adapter, which attaches to the integrated cable with standard 3.5mm mini-jack plug. The cable also features a wrap-around cord storage system, which affords quick and easy connection to your favorite music device, as well as protection during transport.
The ultra-portable Orbit M runs on three AAA batteries that provide up to 24 hours of audio entertainment. The distortion-free speaker system features perfectly balanced components, a 360° sound field, sufficient volume and outstanding sound clarity. Let's be clear - this is a small speaker - with a decent to good sound. For the price I am extremely happy. Very portable. Wish they ran on double AA instead of triple AAA - wish they got a little louder... think of them of personal speakers
