The Altec Lansing IMW725 inMotion Air Portable / Rechargeable Universal Wireless Speaker features a USB wireless transmitter that connects to your computer or laptop, facilitating wireless audio connection from up to 330' (100 m) away. It also features Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) technology, which affords wireless music streaming up to 33' (10 m) away from any Stereo Bluetooth A2DP-enabled device. With no cables or docks to worry about, the IMW725 affords hassle-free, truly wireless connectivity and ultra-portability. There's even an integrated handle for convenient transportation and the built-in rechargeable battery delivers up to seven hours of playing time. A full-featured remote control that works with iTunes, Windows Media Player and most other music players is also included. The IMW725 is compatible with Apple's Remote App as well.
The inMotion Air's room-filling sound comes from two 3.0" (7.6 cm) full-range long throw drivers that combine a clean, crisp high-end with surprisingly deep, rich bass tones. With apt-x technology, which works within Bluetooth, the IMW725 generates superior CD quality audio. For connecting an extra set of speakers or listening with headphones, the USB wireless transmitter features a 3.5 mm headphone / line-out jack. If you want to connect any non-Bluetooth audio devices, the inMotion Air speaker is equipped with an auxiliary 3.5 mm line-in jack located on the back panel. For added convenience, the front of the speaker box is outfitted with volume up/down, play/pause, track forward/back, power on/off controls, as well as a source selection/pairing button. There are also LED indicators for Bluetooth source, Bluetooth status, auxiliary input and power status. The USB wireless transmitter has an LED status indicator and pairing button as well.
