Comments about Altec Lansing inMotion Air Black Universal Wireless Speaker (IMW725BLK):
I am using the product in a massage therapy room. I have the speakers hooked up to my computer at the front desk (about 50 feet away). The system works great. I paired it with my iPhone as well, no problems. I had other Wireless speakers. They actually sounded better, but they also had a separate subwoofer. Unfortunately, they stopped working after 6 months.
I would give the speakers 5 stars on wireless performance. But I would probably give it 3 stars in sound quality (hence the 4 star rating). It's got great treble, ok midrange and ok bass. What the previous review stated is partially accurate. I would assume outdoors these speakers won't be that loud. But in an average size indoor space, the speakers sound relatively loud.
I don't like the lack of controls when it comes to sound. They have one button on the remote, and when you hit it, it changes the sound slightly. It makes it a bit more trebly. But the speakers are a bit trebly to begin with.
One advantage if you are using this with your computer and you have wired speakers is that on the USB dongle, there is an input to plug in another speaker. Keep in mind there is a slight delay to the wireless speakers, but if you have them in a different room, it is a really nice feature. All in all, you are getting a good product. I am thinking of getting one for my bedroom, so if I want to listen to my iPhone playlists, or watch YouTube, I can listen to it thru these speakers rather than the puny iPhone speaker. Hope this review helps.

After reading the[@] review of the Bose Wireless Speaker the reviewer gave Altec Lansing better clarity in sound so I bought this from B&H that night I hooked this up in my desktop it work right away without a problem but was disappointed because it does not have the pump power sound I needed for my business I sell DJ CDs in the streets here in NYC I was looking for small speaker that I can put on top of my table along with the CDs without taking too much space. so I returned this and will try the Bose which is more money than this one.I guess if it has the sound power I am looking for for the price this will be an awesome wireless speaker.
