Overview
  • 1Description

The Sony SNCCH260 Bullet Network Security Outdoor Camera with a 1/2.8 type Exmor CMOS sensor, and a built-in 2.9x varifocal lens, delivers clear full HD images at a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080p. Based on DEPA platform, the security camera provides intelligent video analytics. The DEPA platform is a combination of built-in camera intelligence and rules/filters that determine the type of image capture or when to trigger an alarm. In addition, the security camera supports triple codec encoding and dual streaming.

With Optical Day/Night ICR (Infrared Cut Filter Removal) function, the camera switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. Supporting compression formats such as JPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264, the security camera can generate multiple video streams at the same time.

Built-in IR illuminators help the camera capture images under low light conditions. The stream squared function enables concurrent streaming of two 4:3 aspect ratio videos in user-selectable SD resolutions. You can resize the image to SD resolution by selecting the entire image or portion of the image from the original view. With the stream squared feature, the security camera can replace 2 SD cameras installed in the same viewing line.

The SNCCH260 E Series security camera is compliant with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) protocol, which enables exchange and use of information between network video products including automatic device discovery and video streaming. In addition, the protocol allows the network devices to work together.

With support for PoE (power over Ethernet) option, the SNCCH260 bullet camera can be powered using the same Ethernet cable that is used for data transfer, thereby providing cost effective installation and mobility. Easy focus/zoom function allows you to easily set the focus and zoom settings of the camera. An integrated heater maintains optimum temperature under cold weather conditions enabling easy camera operation. Using analogue monitor output, you can connect an analogue video monitor to the camera.
