The Swann SWDVR-42600H Security DVR with Remote Access (4-Channel, 500GB) allows you to add cameras to record and view up to 4 channels of high quality video simultaneously in real time. Pre-installed 500GB hard drive offers more than 30 days of recording from 4 cameras. Motion detection helps in detecting the presence of relevant motion in the video. USB support is provided for transferring data to a flash drive.
H.264 compression technology helps in saving storage space and reduces the dependence on bandwidth. UPnP support provides auto network configuration for easy setup of remote viewing. Videos can be viewed live on any 3G enabled iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and smartphone with remote notification via email. The SWDVR-42600H Security DVR can be easily connected to TV / LCD monitors. Four theft deterrent stickers are included in the package.

This review is for the Swann DVR4 2600..I have spent hours trying to get my Android and iPhone to connect remotely to no avail, had a nice customer service girl that could not resolve the issue so she said a level 2 tech would call me.
Nope, never heard back.
I can connect on my laptop at home over the web but have not tried to away from home over wifi yet. Also Motion detection alerts do not seem to work, I have set off motion alerm several time and have not recieved an email alert.
