Elinchrom Deflector Set for Softlite Reflectors and Rotolux Softboxes
The Elinchrom Deflector Set for Softlite Reflectors and Rotolux Softboxes is a convenient way to soften and tone the flash head output when using Softlite reflectors or Rotolux softboxes. Depending on the 5.5" (14 cm) disc in use, the light will be cooled or warmed. In all cases it will be bounced and diffused. The set comes with silver, gold, translucent and frost deflectors and 2 rods, one of which is used to affix the disc to the 7 mm umbrella receptacle in the flash head.

i use the reflectors with a 27.5 deep octobox it turn it into a kind of beauty dish. can use them anytime you want to eliminate hot spot with any soft-box. not crazy about the gold one

Great idea! I like being able to turn my octa into a beauty dish. I like that they are made of plastic as I dont like to add any more weight to my assistants load. So far I have only used the silver but it does great!

It is a necessary tool for Ranger to shoot beauty and portrate. The silver defrector creates the beauty dish like light and white defrector with diffuser creates soft light like umbllera bounce with diffuser. Portabilty is also good for me.
