Whether you are shooting in the studio or outdoors, the Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic provides photographers with a simple way to control exposures and an easy-to-use tool to create more "keepers". The device is larger and more comfortable to use than many other remote devices, with a thick, sturdy cord.
The unit provides functionality such as: autofocusing, continuous shooting or single image capture and long time exposures. Since you can trigger exposures without touching the camera you will capture clear, blur-free images. The unit requires no batteries - it draws its power from the camera.
The Wired Remote Switch is a huge asset to keep in your studio or gear bag. This particular wired switch uses a cable that's 2.8' (86 cm) long, and is compatible with Panasonic cameras.

Comments about Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic:
I always use this remote instead of the on camera shutter release on my FZ150. I shoot from a wheelchair camera mount. This remote works fantastic. It has a very precise half and full press. I can't understand how paying $[$]+ more for the Pany remote would get better results. Money well spent and saved!

Comments about Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic:
I use this for my Panasonic G2. It's an inexpensive remote and it does what it's supposed to. Half-press works, bulb mode works. The controls are a little touchy and the unit didn't work at first until the plug was inserted a little more firmly into the jack. The price is nothing to complain about.

Comments about Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic:
Works as advertised. I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ150 and you can press it half way to focus and all the way to shoot the picture. You can also lock the remote to shoot a longer exposure. The Panasonic remote costs $71 so this is a considerable savings.

Comments about Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic:
Not much to say about this - it's nice and lightweight, and it gets the job done, which is exactly what you'd want from a remote shutter release.
The only downside to this is that the plastic "nub" (for lack of a better word) around the end that plugs into the camera is a bit thick, so if your camera's opening for the remote shutter is small, it might be a bit of a tight fit - just make sure you press it into the socket firmly so that it's all the way in.

Comments about Vello RS-P1II Wired Remote Switch for Panasonic:
This is a good remote. It is 100% reliable even if the button is a little squishy. It is about 1000 times better than any wireless remote I've used, but isn't half as good as the old mechanical shutter release cables.
This remote is simple to use and does what it is supposed to do.
