I purchased two of the adapter cables for a some Sony HDR-CX160 camcorders used with a GrizzlyPro Remote Camera control system. It works as it should with LANC control with the new A/V port on the Sony camcorders.

This is the adaptor cable you will need for LANC remote control on a newer Sony camcorder with the "D" shaped AV/R labeled connector. Works with both the Manfrotto and Libec LANC zoom controllers on my Sony HDR-CX550V.
