Comments about Harman Kardon Go + Play II:
The Harman Kardon II Go + Play product is slightly larger than the small boss / cordless soundock, but it produces more power in regards to Bass especially. Initial testing they seem to be similar. Then you realize the Harman Kardon's bass is traveling through the floor. I bought rechargable D-Batteries ( x8)and a charger. This puts the cost up a little. The sound is great, The bass is by far the best of any sound dock I looked at under $400. I looked at everything mac store, best buy, the local malls and electronics stores etc.
This was my pic of them all and I'm very happy with it.

I'm gonna use my unit at home and at work because it is very versatile to carry along and the sound is great and the handle that is stainless looks cool. One thing that i observed from this product is the 4 speaker ports one of them is not working or is it an air vent on that back right side because no sound is coming out of it.

Comments about Harman Kardon Go + Play II:
I've read a lot of review on portable speakers before to chose this one. No doubt, I'm completely satisfied whit it. The sound is clear and the base is really there. I was listening electronic ambient music while I heard a noise that I taught it was an harley in the street, no ! It was sound from the Play II ! Later, for a second, I was wondering if birds was singing in the music, no it was the really one this time. It's for say that the sound is really clear...
Some review was saying that there is no enough space under the handle to manipulate the Ipod/phone. That's the only , cause you have to go back and forth over the handle. H&K should think more about this whit the design. We can in any case manipulate easily the Ipod/phone, and this is not a big deal when you have a nice sound, portable, whit the possibility to put batteries and bring it everywhere whit you ! Some was also saying that H&K should think about a treble and a base button, for me this is not a matter, we can adjust it on the EQ of the Ipod/phone. Finally, the Itouch/phone is stable, solidly connected, and we feel safe whit the stainless steel handle who protect the Ipod/phone in case of impact.
It's a bit expensive, but I really think this is the best choice for this kind of speaker. The sound can go to the max whiteout distortion, and, I was outside, in my backward, and I couldn't put it to the max whit out thinking I was disturbing the neighbors. The sound is loud enough to fill a large the living room plenty !
Amazing product. If you have the money, buy it, you wont regret !
