The USB-BT211 Mini Bluetooth Dongle from Asus is a great way to provide your computer with Bluetooth capabilities. This dongle connects to your computer's USB 2.0 port and supports the Bluetooth v2.1 specification. With this dongle, you can connect your computer to a wide array of wireless Bluetooth-enabled peripherals, such as printers, speakers, headphones, keyboards, mice, and your cell phone or PDA. In addition, if you have a phone or PDA with Internet access, you can use it to connect your computer to the Internet when no hot spot is available. In open space, you can connect Bluetooth devices to your computer within a range of 100 meters.

Received my Asus mini bluetooth within 1 day. Thanks, and it works great. Initially had an issue with paring, but that was my fault..reading instructions is a wise thing to do, few engineers do that:-).
Easier to download drivers direct from Asus than use the mini cdroms that came with it. Other than that... this is an outstanding unit.

I ordered this adapter because my job required me to spend an increasing about of time on teleconferences, usually using VOIP in one form or another. My notebook, while great, didn't come with a bluetooth adapter, and I was getting might tired of running up against my cell phone's minutes every month and I was flat out unwilling to stop using the awesome bluetooth headset.
I tried several "bargain" adapters, all of them stunk, either wretched audio, poor range, flat-out didn't work, and one just stopped working all together in the middle of a call.
This bad boy has been a lifesaver. And it pairs wonderfully with every device I throw at it. Even works in linux! (Ubuntu 11.04)
