The gray ProBody Sport Backpack from Clik Elite is a lightweight pack that will hold your DSLR, a few lenses, flash and some accessories. Here's a lightweight pack made from rugged 420 Denier HT (High Tenacity) Nylon and 330 Denier Cordura Nylon that will serve you well be it for general outdoor photography or your favorite sports pursuit such as mountain biking, fast packing or even skiing.

The ProBody is a slim designed pack with enough room inside to accommodate most everything you'll need for your photo outing. With its tuck-a-way tripod attachments, you'll even be able to take along a small tri-or-monopod - and what outdoor photographer doesn't occasionally need one of those. This is also a fast working pack since it can also be used as a sling-type bag. The side access camera bay permits you to reach inside and grab your DSLR for that quick shot without having to stop and open the entire bag. Just swing the bag up front, zip open the bay, grab your camera, take your shot, re-seal the bay, rotate it back up on your back and you're off again. Multiple attachment points permit additional accessories to be attached.

Inside, the fully padded construction protects your gear and is further supported by the tuck-a-way rain fly that can be deployed when the weather turns marginal. The handy organizer panel that is separate from the camera bay is used to hold your batteries and memory cards as well as other small accessories. The pack is carried by two padded and adjustable straps and supported by a chest strap with quick-release coupler that will hold the pack firm and straight while hiking or riding.

Backed by Clik Elite's lifetime warranty, the ProBody Sport is a serious pack to be considered by the avid outdoors shooter or activist.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Gray):

I had high expectations of this bag, unfortunately it let me down. It is listed as being designed for a Pro-Body D-SLR but my Canon EOS 7D with a battery grip barely fits. No matter which way I attempt to get the camera in it requires shoving and holding as I zip up the pack. Quickly storing the camera in the pack is not possible. If I want to fit more camera equipment in the main camera component space is extremely limited. The included dividers do not seem intended for use with a large SLR, and I had to immediately remove them. Arranging them in a completely different way than intended I was able to fit in my 7D with grip and a 17-55 f/2.8 lens attached and just a 11-16 f/2.8 lens also in the camera compartment. It was tight. Fitting the 7D in the compartment with a 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached is impossible without removing the divider between the camera compartment and upper compartment.

The hydration compartment is also poorly designed. Actually putting a full 3L balder in it causes the pack to bulge significantly in both directions. It pushes the pack mesh of the bag out, and though it looks odd it was not uncomfortable to wear. It did however also bulge into the camera and upper compartments as well, making it even more difficult to fit camera equipment in. There is no way to actually attach a hydration system to the bag, their hydration pouch is just that - and simple open topped pouch.

The description for this bag said that it is compatible with Clik Elite's chest carries - that is completely false. I think the attachment points for the chest carriers existed in an earlier version of this bag, but the current ones DO NOT have them. Unless you want to wear them as completely separate items or jury-rig up an attachment system, this will not work with a chest carrier.

Otherwise the bag was very well built and extremely comfortable to wear. If you are looking for a light day pack and have a smaller camera (like a Canon Rebel) or a medium-format camera without a battery grip and only want to carry one or two lenses, this would be a great option.

I loved this bag in theory and in person but I had to send it back because it didn't hold all my gear. Everything from the color to the construction is great...just not big enough for my stuff. For a small rig, this would be a perfect bag!

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Gray):

Looking for something smaller and lighter than my big Kata backpack. Arrived today - looks well made. Fits well. The bottom compartment is not deep enough for a D3 with an L bracket attached, but the upper compartment will take it.

High-quality pack for day hikes

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Gray):

I have used this pack on many long (3000-4000ft. elevation gain) hikes in the summer and fall. It is light and fits snuggly (I'm 5'9''), though doesn't have much room for non-camera accessories. It can store lunch, a water bottle, and a windshirt, but not a full jacket.

I used it with Canon 5d Mark 2 and 17-40mm lens with hood attached (not reversed). It also fits 70-200mm f/4 lens (without hood).

Taking the camera out is a snap, thanks to a sling-like design. You only need to take the pack off one shoulder.

Hydration compartment is very useful, since there is only one pocket. I used the pocket to carry an Oben 1410 tripod and put my Camelback Unbottle 70 in the hydration compartment.

After use with the Camelback, one elastic loop that holds the mouth tube broke, but Clik Elite repaired the pack quickly and free of charge.

Interior is padded with soft velour-like fabric, not nylon like Lowe packs.

The only negative that I noticed is that this pack gets your back hot relatively quickly. I wish there was better ventilation for hot weather.

Comments about Clik Elite ProBody Sport Backpack (Gray):

I bought this backpack to store either my Nikon D200 or D700 for hiking or skiing trips in the german Alps.

This backpack is good to store a Probody DSLR or a Cam with attached Battery Grip.

My D200 fits in perfect with attached Batt-Grip, 24-70 2.8 lens and there´s enough space for a Jacket, water and other stuff you need on those day trips.

You can also attach a Tripod like a Manfrotto 190CXPRO 4 on the side of the pack.

Last but not least, there´s an extra space for a Camelback drinking system...
