The gray Pro Express Backpack from Clik Elite is an airline carry-on rated bag that is an excellent choice for both city and mountain use. The Pro Express has been elongated but still retains its slim profile that is supported by two strong shoulder straps, waist belt and a chest strap that holds it firmly in place while on the trail. Made from tough water-resistant Cordura nylon, this bag has some unique features that set it apart from other packs in its category.

It's rated to hold your DSLR and 4-5 lenses as well as a full complement of accessories. In addition, there's a padded computer sleeve that will hold your 15" (38.14cm) laptop or even an iPad. For those low light shots that require a tripod, there is a tip-out style tripod sling that will carry just about any size tripod centered on the back of the pack for excellent balance while on the trail.

Inside, it's modular in design with plenty of padded dividers to accommodate your gear. You'll have five adjustable Cradled Lens Dividers to support your optics and two full-length vertical dividers to separate equipment. A top pocket holds your quick-access accessories such as batteries, cables, business cards and memory. All this is found in the top work-space lid that is readily accessed when needed. For those moments when it rains or snows, Clik Elite gives you a hidden rain fly that can be rapidly deployed at will.

The Pro Express is also supplied with a hydration bladder that will hold about 3 liters. Never a worry about becoming thirsty while hiking. And, for those who like to carry some extras, you'll have multiple exterior attachment options. All this is backed by a lifetime warranty from Clik Elite.

Comments about Clik Elite Pro Express Backpack (Gray):

Used to carry 5DMKII with grip and 3-4 lens. Great bag with a comfortable fit. Protective of equipment. Top compartment (memory and such) is a little snug. Can attach extra storage for lenses on waist belt. Good balance on back and easy to carry. Good price as well.

Comments about Clik Elite Pro Express Backpack (Gray):

I was able to use the backpack for what I bought it for this weekend and it passed my tests. I intend to use the bag only for transporting/storing gear, not necessarily for carrying everything with me when I'm shooting. That being said, I carried it 3 miles this weekend and it was more comfortable than I expected.

      Pros:
The main compartment holds a lot of gear. My longest lens is a 105mm and most of my lenses are small, manual focus Nikkors. I was able to fit a D40 with 24/2.8, D80 with 55/3.5 Micro, FE with 50/1.8E, another FE, 50/1.8 AI, 105/2.5, 28-105 Vivitar, a set of extension tubes, SB-24, Rolleiflex 2.8, and Luna Pro SBC into the main compartment. In between the dividers I fit flash gels and cheap wireless triggers.
The top pocket hold memory cards, IR remote, lens cloth, spare batteries, cable release, and extra lens caps.
The laptop pocket fits my 15" Thinkpad easily.
The other large pockets holds chargers, film, Rocket Blower, notebook, and still has room as well.
My old, small aluminum Gitzo fits either in the side pockets or the drop down tripod holder. I prefer it in the side pockets because I don't have to take the tripod off to open the pack that way.
The waist belt and shoulder straps are nice. They're both padded and the belt transfer weight well. It works as well at the belt on most of my hiking packs.

      Cons:
I wish there were another small pocket or two. Clik Elite sacrificed small organizer pockets so you can fold the top over and lay things on it on location, which is a feature I like. But the front zip pocket where I keep film and chargers can be difficult to find what you want. That's the only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

Overall I'm really happy with this pack. It fits a ton of gear, carries it comfortably, and still fits carry-on size requirements. If they found somewhere to add a couple of small pockets for stashing chargers and cords it would be ideal for me.

Comments about Clik Elite Pro Express Backpack (Gray):

I just got back from a week-long photo workshop in Hawaii which I use this bag to test it out.

      Pro:
      1. It has two vertical big zipper pockets in the front, one for laptop, and one for a jacket, sunglasses, manuals, snacks, first aid, etc.
      2. The gear compartment is roomy if use a regular divider found from other Lowepro bags to save space (Cradled Lens Dividers ")(" take too much space).
      3. There is a mesh side pocket on both sides that are big enough to put a Lowepro folding filter wallet.
      4. The adjustable harness works pretty good. It sits on my waist comfortably. However, I think the waist belt adjustable part is too long for small female (I am 5'6"/130lb) but maybe too short for big guys.
      5. It will stand still on a flat ground.
      6. The size is good for carry-on.

      Con:
      1. It's hard to use the Hydration compartment. I have a hard time to insert an empty 3L Bladder into the compartment, and there wasn't enough room if I really want to fill 3L water.
      2. The top storage pocket (the lid) only useful on the side that has a zipper/mesh pocket. I wish the other side were also a zipper/mesh pocket because it can store more items than what it designs for.
      3. I would like to have some detachable side pods on outside for other attachments (memory card pouch, accessory pouch, filter, etc). They have some on the shoulder straps and the waist belt but the slot size is not big enough to insert the belt slot from Lowepro pouch (only big enough to use Carabiners).
