The Axis Communications M3204 Surveillance Network Camera Kit (4 Cameras) consists of a camera station video management software and a 1-base license, and can be scaled and combined to provide an effective surveillance solution for any system size up to 50 cameras.
With a 1/4" progressive scan RGB CMOS imager, the cameras deliver high-quality images at a resolution up to 1280 x 800 (HDTV 720p). The camera has a varifocal 2.8-10mm (f1.7) fixed-iris lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 80-22°. It supports individually configurable multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams at up to 30fps. H.264 compression technology helps in saving storage space and reduces the amount of bandwidth needed, without compromising on image quality.
When the tamper detection software is installed, the camera alerts the users in case the camera is moved or covered. Equipped with a tamper-resistant case, the camera is ideal to be used in public places such as offices, small stores, restaurants, and libraries.
With Pixel Counter, the installer can ensure the pixel resolution of an object meets the regulatory or specific customer requirements. Using privacy masking, the camera blocks sensitive areas of the camera's view. In addition to digital pan, tilt & zoom, the camera offers a pan range of 360° and a tilt range of 340°. With Axiscam.net dynamic DNS service, the camera enables remote access for Internet connections with a dynamic IP address.
Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection, and active tampering alarm. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 1), which allows the camera to get power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
