Minimum Signal Path for clear audio and video signal
Denon's "simple and straight" design concept has been thoroughly implemented in the signal paths to provide incredibly clean audio and video playback. Signal paths are as short as possible to keep signal degradation in the audio and video circuitry to an absolute minimum.
Direct Mechanical Ground Construction for thorough vibration resistance:
Vibration-resistant construction thoroughly suppresses the adverse influences of vibration on sound quality. Power transformers have been securely mounted on the receiver's highly rigid bottom chassis to minimize vibration. By direct mounting feet to the radiator in close proximity to each other, we are able to suppress the mutual vibration from the power transformers and other sources.
Compressed Audio Restorer for enhancing digital music files:
Denon's audio technology for MP3, WMA and AAC compressed formats restores the higher frequency range that is lost during the compression process. This technology delivers superior performance with more emotional range and nuances from any connected source that uses compression.

The Denon AVR-2112 offers so many options. The airplay is awesome and being able to stream Pandora through the whole house is incredible. I had looked at Yamaha receivers and could not get multi zone, multi source for this price range.it's very easy to watch TV in the main room and have Pandora, Internet radio or my iPod in the 2nd zone. I downloaded the Denon app on my my iPad and it works seamlessly . Great product and unbelievable sound quality. I am hearing sounds I've never heard before from my previous Yamaha system.

Easy setup for hdmi devices. good auto calibration feature and i love the networking features. with component video from wii, i haven't worked out how to optimize video with my tv though and picture is not good. good operation with android app and very good sound.

I replaced an aged Pioneer receiver with the Denon. What a huge difference. The surround is awesome. Setup was a breeze. I love the network interface, the unit can be controlled from a web browser. This is the third Denon I had a hand in buying. I recommended one for my son-in-law and another for my step-father. All are happy, a great product.

This is my primary receiver for my living room entertainment system. Set up could not be easier and the web based interface is a welcome addition over previous receivers I have used. All of my components are HDMI so this receiver was perfect, however, if you have a lot of component video, rca, etc you may want to consider a different receiver.
