First of all, this is the best price I have found for this product. I really like the way the case protects the iPad in addition to the built in keypad. I find that I choose to use the keyboard depending upon my seated position. If I am holding the iPad in my lap, I tend to double the case back and use the onscreen keypad. If I am seated at a hard surface, I prefer to use the wireless keyboard. All in all, the best case for the money and the option of using the keyboard is great as well!

Defective Charging Design

On the face, the tyPad case with bluetooth keyboard is a very nice looking, convenient and easy to use product; however, I wish I would have gone with my gut instinct after reading the reviews posted before I purchased this product.
The charging port built in to the side of the case is defective by design. Even after reading the original reviews, knowing the fragile nature of the connector and taking extra care when plugging and un-plugging the charging cord, the port still broke while trying to plug it in for the third time. It appears the only thing holding the USB port to the interior of the case is the fine wires from the port and solder. I very much enjoyed using this product and hope they can improve this design flaw for this product in the future. For now I'll have to see what the manufacturer's warranty department will do for me as I just purchased the case on 09/08/11.

Piece of junk. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to let other people know what a piece of junk this thing is. It is completely unacceptable for typing. I was not able to write an email without correcting most of the words I typed. I was able to type much more accurately with the glass keyboard - and I don't even practice with that.
For recreational use with little typing, this might be alright. For actual emailing it is horrible. The keys are made to do thisssssssss and it does it on nearly every word.
I can normally pickup just about anything techy and be happy - I am a tech geek. This product is no good! Final answer

I purchased this for my father-in-law who is 76 years old. We are trying to help him become more familiar w/the conveniences of modern technology. This was easy enough for him to install and use himself!! The case makes the ipad feel more solid w/out adding weight. The keyboard is effortless. ...but best of all? The price was the BEST that I could find!!
