It comes with ICON editing software to use in a DAW environment, and fits in a single rack space. The Reverb 4000 features 24 bit AD/DA converters, 44.1 to 96kHz Samples Rates, impressive headroom, and Analog/Digital interfacing capabilities. The instant access front panel allows you to easily switch between different types of reverbs and keeps important parameters within reach. Generic Reverbs are also included, providing polished sustain, vintage reverbs, and true stereo reverbs. The input and outputs provided include AES/EBU, S/PDIF, TOS-LINK, and ADAT, making the Reverb 4000 extremely flexible in the studio.

True Stereo Reverbs from the System 6000
Capable of rendering credible space onto both sources of a stereo signal, the Reverb 4000 is a single engine stereo reverb which features the best reverbs and presets from the flagship System 6000 from TC Electronics.
Plenty of Memory for Presets
The Reverb 4000 comes pre-loaded with 134 factory presets and has room for 100 more user presets. With the optional PCMCIA card, you can add room for an additional 100 custom presets or have unlimited custom presets if you interface the Reverb 4000 with an external hard drive.
Classic, Vintage, and Modern Reverbs
The reverb 4000 features Generic Reverbs with polished sustain and vintage emulations including the EMT 250 and M5000. These emulations have been recreated with great care and detail in order to accurately portray these classic reverbs in a modern package.
Favorite Presets from the M5000
Included are many of the favored presets and algorithms from the much loved M5000 reverb. The M-series reverbs from TC Electronics have become industry standards and have won numerous awards since their introduction. The Reverb 4000 offers this must have effect in an updated package.
Realistic Environments
The Reverb 4000 painstakingly recreates many different natural environments ranging from claustrophobic to outdoor scenarios. The early reflections have been carefully reproduced to establish convincing spaces we experience in the natural world.
VSS-4 - Source Based Reverb
VSS-4 is the first choice for spot or close mic pickups, and is capable of adding spaciousness, character, and depth. It features 24-bit transparency and the wet output is de-correlated the same way a natural space would be. The wet/dry balance maintains intact when listening in mono, but the VSS-4 really shines when reproducing source related reflections in true stereo.
PC and MAC Icon Editor Program
Increase your editing power by using the Icon Editor for instant access to detailed parameters of any of the factory presets, or to design your own presets on your computer.
One Engine, Massive SRAM Design
The Reverb 4000 offers a single engine true stereo design and plenty of RAM specifically designed to process complex algorithms ensuring that the reverbs are of the highest quality.
Digital and Analog Wide Dynamic Range
With 24 bit AD/DA converters and 44.1 to 96kHz sample rates, the Reverb 4000 can produce pristine audio with plenty of headroom and level handling.
Instant Access User Interface
The Reverb 4000 interface presents the most used editing functions on the front face of the unit, and has search functions which allow you to find the perfect preset quickly and efficiently. You can quickly choose between character, glossy, and vintage reverb effects with a single touch of a button.
Flexible I/O Routing
The Reverb 4000 offers a slew of digital and analog I/Os to ensure it can integrate into whatever environment necessary. These connectors include XLR, RCA, Optical, S/PDIF, and ADAT lite pipe. Formats include Tos-link, AES, EBU, and EIAJ Optical.
