The Kodak C1530 EASYSHARE Camera is an affordable point-and-shoot, that true to its name, features easy sharing options along with impressive pixel power. The C1530 features the Kodak 'Share' button for sharing your photos in just three easy steps. Step 1: press the Share button when in review mode. Step 2: Choose your sharing destination, either an email address or the Kodak Pulse Digital Frame. Step 3: Connect your camera to your computer or insert your memory card for automatic upload of pictures and videos. It's that easy.
When it comes to those 14Mp that turn out stunningly detailed photos, the C1530 isn't joking. With 14Mp you can print images up to 30 x 40" - making you the artist. A higher megapixel rate also means you can crop and enlarge while retaining image quality. In addition to capturing photos, the C1530 also records VGA video. Other highlights of the c1530 include 3x optical zoom (for stills), blur reduction, better known as image stabilization, a built-in mechanical lens cover, and a 3.0" LCD for composition and review of all your shots. Last, but certainly not least, a number of scene modes and autofocus functions, along with functions such as prolonged exposure (0.5-8 seconds) and the date and time stamp, help you to make and take photos and videos with ease, just the way you want them to be.

I wanted a small camera that I could stick in my pocket and shoot fun snap shots with friends...I purchased the Kodak 1530 Easyshare and went to a local garden to shoot some "beauty" shots...They came out great. I am a published photographer who uses professional grade equipment...but shots from this camera are good enough to use in a range of photographic note cards I publish...and it's great for fun shots of my friends, too!

I'm a DSLR user and there are numerous times when you cannot take out your DSLR. For such times, I wanted an inexpensive camera. Another reason I wanted this is, when I go out with my friends, I don't want to give out my DSLR to someone to take a picture of mine. First I'm scared that he might drop it and second I'll have to explain how to use it. It was a pain.
At first you might think its cheap so it is bad. But cheap is not bad always. At 14 MP some of the images it takes are quite nice. Battery life isn't great but which other camera with AA batteries gives you long life? Since this is only my contingency camera, i'm ok with the batteries. Usage is easy and straight forward. Picture clarity is decent though not of the quality of Sony W70. So all in all, I can say that if you are looking for a cheap second camera or a camera to keep in car or a camera for contingencies, go for it. At this price, you cant go wrong!
