The Pearstone VW-VBG6 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.2 V, 4800 mAh) is a rechargeable battery pack for the Panasonic HDC-TM10S Full-HD and HDC-SDT750K Full-HD 3D Camcorders. It replaces the Panasonic VW-VBG6. The battery has lithium-ion chemistry with a 7.2 V output and a capacity of 4800 mAh.

This came with the camera so I feel hesitant reviewing something negatively that I got for free. Still, I want to warn people that this battery stopped working in my camera after a few uses. Was awkward to attach and than got a message from the camera saying the battery wouldn't work. After I returned it, it still remained awkward to fit into camera slot and when it popped out on a shoot... well I can't have that happen. Retiring it and keeping it around in case I need it to feed a light or monitor.

I bought this battery knowing there was a chance that the Af100 would hate it. When i got it, charged it up and put it in, it worked! So I was pretty happy about that, only now everytime I try to use one of the two I bought i get "This battery cannot be used" and the camera shuts down. I'm still trying to fathom (outside of the obvious) why Panasonc is so uptight about 3rd party batteries but be aware this will NOT work in the AF100. It will reject it, fortunatly I have a monitor that takes the d-series batteries and can be retrofit to use these E series, so Im not Totally SOL.

I bought this battery for back up. I had a shoot on a train, and did not know if AC power would be available. As it turned out I did need the battery to finish the shoot. thanks to B&H for getting it out to me so quick.
